I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I know Ray and I did. We had dinner at his mom and dad's, of course, it was the traditional meal ----- turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes, string beans, pumpkin pie. My mother-in-law, Carole, prepared the meal and Uncle Howie and I did the dishes. After clean-up it was time to take it easy and watch football. Now we are taking it easy and enjoying a nice, long, relaxing weekend. Hunting season begins Monday. Little Phillip (he's really not so little - taller than me - but then again, who isn't???) is going to be enjoying his first year of deer season. He will be hunting with Uncle Ray and they decided he is coming out Sunday night to sleep over, have a good manly breakfast before hitting the woods and hopefully Phil, Jr. will bag his first deer. Pop - get the camera ready!

Fall Day Progressive Scrapbook Page
This is a progressive scrapbook page I did at a workshop. We started out with a 6"x6" on Old Olive and then progressed to an 8 1/2" x 11" Not Quite Navy and then onto a 12" x 12" More Mustard. Using the two tag punches and ribbons finished the project.

Halloween Candy Corn Bag Topper
The Halloween Candy Corn Bag Topper was made using Only Orange and Whisper White cardstock. The bag was a big hit with everyone at the workshop. I suggested different items that could be put inside a cello bag with a topper such as M&M's, trail mix, coins (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters), tootsie rolls, etc.

Spider Halloween Card "Batty for You"
Using the Creepy Crawly Designer Series Paper as the main background on this card created a unique "web type effect" for the spider medallion.

Joyce & Paul
My niece, Joyce and her husband, Paul, on their wedding day 9-8-07. What a day that was! She made a beautiful bride and he was a handsome groom - it's just too bad the weather didn't cooperate with us. They got married at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Weatherly and had an outside reception planned. Well, when it was time for the reception we had a terrific downpour, hail, thunder, lightning, high winds. Fortunately the reception tent was set up at a firehouse hall so it was decided to move the party inside. Despite the weather, everyone had a great time ---- it was an ADVENTURE!

Flower Seed Packet
I was looking forward to Spring last year and came up with an idea to do a card with a flower seed packet inside. The green ribbon reminds me of Mr. Green Jeans from Captain Kangaroo. What do you think?

Joyce's Bridal Shower Invitations
Joyce's shower was held in June and the theme was "Flip Flops" which was very appropriate because it was held poolside at her parent's home. My daughter, Danielle, designed the card and my sister-in-law, Jeanne, made them. I was in charge of games and it was a beautiful day!

Happy Holidays Christmas Card
This was my Christmas Card last year. I used the Flaky Friends stamp set. Stamped the mitten on a vellum tag and colored it in and used hemp twine and eyelets as embellishments.

Flaky Friends Bookmarker
Bookmarker was made with Night of Navy cardstock and Whisper White. I colored the snowmen in with the watercolor pencils. The Night of Navy square had two pieces of magnet to hold your place in your book - great idea for a gift!

Easter Egg Nuggets
Last Easter I made Easter Egg Nuggets using the Easter Eggs from the Loads of Love accessories and stamping them on Avery computer address labels. Put them in a cellophane bag and made a bag topper and attached a tag on one of the brads.
